Class Fees

Class fees are charged by the dance season

and divided into nine (9) equal monthly installments (September-May).  September

class fees and the registration fee are due

upon registration.  Fees are non-refundable

and non-transferable.  There are no credits

on missed lessons.  Regardless of length

of the month or student absences, tuition remains the same September-May. 

Class fees are prorated at the time of

enrollment only.  Once enrolled, full monthly

fees are due every month.

Teacher Recommendation

We recommend students age 8 and over

interested in improving overall dance skills

should take at least one technique class per

week.  If you are interested in the Performance Line in the future, you should take at least two technique classes per week.  Each additional technique class adds $10 to the monthly fee.

Example:

One hour, once a week - $48.00

Two hours, once a week - $58.00

Three hours, once a week - $68.00

Family Discounts

A 15% discount is given to families with two immediate family members enrolled.  A 20% discount is given to families with 3 or more family members enrolled.  Family discounts apply to brother/sister, mother/daughter, etc.  Family is considered immediate family living in the same household.

Limited Scholarships

Limited scholarship are available to families who qualify based on income.  Scholarships are not guaranteed and are non-transferable.  Scholarship do not roll over, you must reapply each dance season.

Registration Fee

A registration fee of $20.00 per family is due

upon registration.  Once registered, students

are enrolled for the entire dance season from September until the recital in June.  If you

wish to withdraw from classes at any point during the year, a Class Withdrawal Form

must be filled out and turned into the counter. 

If a Class Withdrawal Form is not turned in

and signed, you will be responsible for paying tuition through the end of the season. 

At the start of each new dance season you

must fill out a enrollment form to be registered for class.  Open enrollment begins September

12 and ends November 14 for students participating in the recital.  After November

14, open enrollment is for technique classes

only.

Forms of Payment

Cash or Credit Cards only.  We do not accept checks.

Discount for Payment in Full

A 10% discount is given for full year payment

if made by Wednesday, September 2009. 

Cannot be used with an discount.

Late Fees

Payment is due the 1st class of each month. 

Fees not paid by the 2nd class are considered

late and will incur a $10.00 late fee for each

month you are late.  Late fees apply to tuition, competition fees and costume fees, etc. 

No exceptions are made.

Recital Costume Fees

Most combination classes have two costumes with the exception of Creative Movement/Tap/Ballet class (one costume).  costumes include all extras needed, such as tights, head pieces, socks, etc.  Costumes are ready-made and involve little to no sewing by the parent.

Dance Tuition is a Tax Credit

Under Minnesota State K-12 Education Subtraction and Credits: you are able to subtract/credit for your dance tuition from Hollywood Studio of Dance.  Keep your receipts; we do not give year end statements.

Donations are Tax Deductible

Hollywood Studio of Dance is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and is qualified to receive donations.  If you give to the United Way foundation through your employer, you can designate a contribution to us.  Your donation helps us help families in need.
